Biography

Dr. Sojung Kim earned a B.A. in child psychology and education from Seung Kyun Kwan University in Seoul, Korea, an M.A. in speech-language pathology from Ohio University, and a Ph.D. in speech, language, and hearing science from Arizona State University. Before she entered into academia, Dr. Kim worked as an early intervention provider for the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, and a statistician and clinical supervisor in Infant Child Research Programs at Arizona State University. Her research and clinical expertise includes Augmentative and Alternative Communication, quantitative analyses, early intervention, and scholarship of teaching and learning. Her work has been disseminated through peer-revised publications and presentations at local, state, and national conferences. Dr. Kim serves as the chairperson for the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders.
