Biography

Dr. Zachary Voras is an analytical chemist with a research focus to study the pathways of interactions for complex soft materials with their local environment as observed by a variety of surface and bulk analytical techniques. Chemical investigations include molecular alteration, diffusion, interfacial interactions, and electronic structure change. Previous research efforts have been focused on biomaterial and polymer degradation for cultural heritage research, although novel materials and applications are also of interest.
