Welcome to the College of Arts and Humanities, home to disciplines that ask us to examine and understand the human story, and disciplines that help us show, tell, and perform human stories of all kinds.

The College of Arts and Humanities employs over 230 faculty, offering 22 undergraduate degree programs, 12 graduate degree programs, and 38 undergraduate minors. Our faculty are artists, scholars, writers, and world-class teachers who care deeply about student success and learning. Our thriving programs provide students with experiential opportunities for creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and intensive practice in written and oral communication. The college also hosts the Pennsylvania Writing and Literature Project, a nationally recognized Poetry Center and Conference, and an international scholarly journal, College Literature.

The West Chester University College of Arts and Humanities will be a regional innovator in education that cultivates interdisciplinary collaboration, artistic and cultural programming, and inclusive and engaged citizenship. Our faculty and staff will champion student access and success so that students can learn the skills and strategies they need for successful and fulfilling lives at WCU and beyond.
