The Center for Civic Engagement and Social Impact encourages and empowers students to engage in positive and meaningful community-based learning experiences that address various issues of public concern. Our Center prepares West Chester University’s students to think critically, develop their skillset and find opportunities to explore their commitment to define and impact their civic sphere.
We work to increase student’s knowledge, support their ideals of civic responsibility and aid in their efforts and advancements of community and civic engagement. By engaging in valuable experiences within the Center for Civic Engagement and Social Impact students have the opportunity to actively engage in understanding, identifying and actively addressing issues of public concern on a local, national and global scale. We empower students to go beyond one time service and charitable giving to truly make a social impact and societal change!
