LWL Conference
We are very excited to announce that we are now accepting proposals for the 2025 Leadership and the Good Life Conference, which will explore topics related to leadership and human flourishing. We invite scholars (in Philosophy, Religious Studies, and Leadership Education, and beyond), practitioners, and community leaders to participate in this unique conference. Conference Goals: Leadership and the Good Life
This year's conference will focus on the intersection of leadership and the "good life." Our goal is to examine how leadership can enhance human flourishing and contribute to a life worth living. We are particularly interested in proposals that explore:
- The role of leadership in personal and community well-being
- Ethical leadership in various professional sectors
- The integration of values and leadership practices in a diverse and changing world
We are seeking submissions for:
- Panels on relevant leadership topics
- Topical papers/presentations that address theory and practice
- Pedagogy workshops that showcase innovative ways to teach leadership and the good life
We are accepting proposals for scholarly papers and panel presentations in areas contributing to the interdisciplinary topic of Leadership and the Good Life.
Paper/Panel topic areas might include: Visions of human flourishing, Perspectives on Meaning-Making, Ethics (theory and/or applied), Ethics pedagogy, Leadership, Leadership pedagogy, Religious ethics, Religious literacy, Interfaith dialogue/action, Community engagement, and more.
We also invite scholars, instructors and practitioners within the "Life Worth Living" network to propose presentations to share their pedagogical reflections or offer a specific pedagogical tool or practice used in their LWL course(s). [Other participants will have a chance to learn more about the LWL framework while at the conference.]
